if you are are an experienced sewer or beginner this group welcomes you.

All types of patchwork, quilting, applique  and embroidery can be done. Members may choose their own projects, large or small, and help will be available in our friendly and encouraging group.

From next session the Patchwork Group will offer the opportunity to do embroidery along with patchwork, quilting and appliqué.  Crazy patchwork (also known as Victorian  patchwork) is particularly attractive when embellished in this way.  ( see photos below )
You are welcome to bring along your own project or start something new if you desire a bit of company and encouragement alongside like-minded folk.
A selection of books and magazines can be available for inspiration and, of course, YouTube videos are also an excellent resource for these crafts.
Beginners are most welcome and help and encouragement is readily given.

The class will restart on Monday 8 September, 2025, meeting fortnightly, at Ardler Community Centre, from 2-4 pm.’

TEMPORARILY AT COLDSIDE PARISH CHURCH DURING REPAIRS AT ARDLER until the end of the current term.
