Currently we meet every second Friday in Broughty Ferry Library from 1000 until 12 noon starting on Friday 30th August. If we are not at the library we will travel to photo opportunities in the local area, often just in Broughty Ferry and around and about or the V&A or local to the Ferry although last session we visited the University Botanic Gardens and Kinclaven Woods near Blairgowrie to take some seasonal pictures.

This year we are planning to visit; The Howff Cemetery, The University Botanical Gardens, Morton Lochs, Westhaven near Carnoustie and Kinclaven Woods.

Group members have photographed at U3A events. Their pictures have been published on our Facebook page and used for publicity purposes by U3A. (See the new U3A pop-up banner!)

We communicate using the Digital Photography Group WhatsApp page each week and publish information about outings and items of interest to members via the Group page.

If you would like to come along, please look at this session’s syllabus. Topics this year include taking photographs of panoramic vistas, using an app on your phone to process pictures, wildlife photography and views of an old harbour.

Please come along if you have an interest in photography. We are a friendly bunch and remember the best camera that you have is the one you with you when you see the perfect picture!
